There are many homebrew applications available for your PSP, all of which can be run on many PSPs from firmware versions 1.0 through 2.60. Loaders for versions 2.70 and beyond are in development, and Sony has even mentioned that one day they will enable official homebrew execution. I explain how to run these programs in my book, Hacking the PSP, and the Firmware Launchers section also explains how to run these applications.
